4 Provinces 365km Cycle
Cycling group ‘Dunboyne Pedal Pushers’ are organising a fundraising event ‘4Province Cycle’. This event, which aims to raise funds for the new centre in Trim will be held on September 15th and 16th and will involve 30 cyclists navigating a route around the 4 provinces of Ireland, covering 365km in 2 days. The group have set up a go fund me page; https://www.gofundme.com/4provinces, and are seeking donations and sponsors for the event.
The group will commence their cycle in Dunboyne and cycle through Virginia, Edgesworthstown, Athlone and Ballinasloe before resting overnight in Birr. Day 2 will consist of cycling on to Roscrea, Tullamore, Edenderry and finishing with a welcome home reception in Trim. Adrian Tiernan, whose daughter attends the Trim Service is spearheading the fundraising campaign and hopes that the cycle will raise much needed funds to build a fully accessible building in the heart of Trim town.
