Watergate Street Development
Prosper Meath are currently developing a state of the art day service location for adults with an intellectual disability living in the Navan area at the former ESB premises on Watergate Street, Navan.
The Watergate Street premises has a fully accessible layout to cater for people with varying levels of ability who will avail of the service.
Local Architect firm, McKevitt Architects, based in Drogheda, designed the new development. Meath County Council has granted planning permission for this project, Hoey Builders from Wilkinstown secured the building contract following a tender process, and the building works is due to commence soon.
The central location in Navan town will allow easy access to the facilities and businesses in Navan for the people that we support. This will enable them to become recognised, well known and involved in their own local community.
The new service will also provide opportunities for other citizens of Navan to get to know the service users and develop new relationships with them as friends, service providers, employers or acquaintances working together on community-based projects.
Prosper Meath look forward to progressing this project for the benefit of our service users.
